Lochaber Camanachd ensured their place in the Marine Harvest Premier League with an exciting 5-3 win over Lovat at Spean Bridge on Sunday 2 November 2008.

Danny Delaney and Lachlan Campbell scored two each and Hugh Innes were the Lochaber scorers and James MacPherson, Greg Matheson and Euan Ferguson replied for Lovat.

Lochaber jump to 7th in the league on 12 points and they still have 2 games to play.

This ends the relegation battle and means that it is Strathglass and Lovat who are relegated to the Marine Harvest North Division 1. 

Both Strathglass and Bute finish on 11 points and Bute still have a game to play. However But'es goal difference is such that it's the Strath who are sure to go down.
