The University Shinty North v South takes place at the Eilan, Newtonmore on Saturday 29 November 2008.

The prize on offer is the Men's and Women's Quaich. However the players will also be competing for a place in the Scottish University sides to face British Universities Hurling and Camogie All-Stars in England in January 2009

The North men's squad and ladies' squad are selected from; Aberdeen University, Dundee University, University of the Highlands & Islands, and Robert Gordons University.

The South men's squad and ladies' squad are selected from; Edinburgh University, Glasgow University, St Andrews University, and Strathclyde University.

The South won both the mens and ladies matches in 2007.

The ladies match throws up at 11.30am and the mens match throws up at 1pm.
