Iain Nicolson was named Skye Camanachd man of the match following the 2009 Thomas Ferguson Memorial Cup win over Glasgow Mid Argyll on Saturday 20 February 2010.

Nicolson was selected as Skye’s top performer by Mid Argyll after he scored twice in the Islanders’ win.

This is the second consecutive year that Nicolson has won the Shield having also collected it in 2008. 

Glasgow Mid Argyll presented Skye Camanachd with a Shield in 1978 to be given to the best Skye player from the challenge match.
